Overthinking



Description:
Developed as a visual for my stationery brand, Emotional Tulip*, the artwork borrows the same visual principles established for the brand, that being the negative emotions are expressed through black (while the positive ones are expressed through pink or magenta).

The achromatic artwork sketches out the idea of overthinking emphasising its negative effects on the well-being of the person being in that state. The draining thoughts are expressed through the visual metaphor of the snake, while the spiralling feeling of vertigo  given by a chain of thoughts is produced by the very author of the act.

*Emotional Tulip is a brand that aims to help people organise their thoughts while recognising the role of emotions in the process
